After reports that Apple investigators were acting as San Francisco police officers arose, SFPD has admitted to cooperating with Apple to help the Cupertino company locate a missing iPhone prototype. The SFPD has issued an official statement regarding their involvement in the case, which involved six people showing up to the home of Bay Area resident Sergio Calder?n. Police department representatives previously said they had no knowledge of the incident, and no police report had been filed.
